The Good Friends Become Regular
If you’ve been following the podcast for a while, you’ll have noticed that our release schedule is eccentric. We started out as something close to weekly, dropping back to roughly fortnightly when we realised that this was unsustainable. This schedule has been chaotic, however, punctuated by gaps and delays. The main reason for this is that we haven’t always had a buffer of completed episodes, so things like holidays and sickness have knocked us out of kilter.
When we set up our Patreon page, we established a milestone goal of a regular release schedule if we hit $50 per episode. A pledge from Adam Alexander took us up to the magic number this week! From episode 51, we will adopt a reliable fortnightly release schedule. Expect new episodes every other Tuesday, starting on the 28th of April.
We have a few episodes in the can to help build up our buffer, and we will be recording two new ones over the weekend, along with special guest Mike Mason of Chaosium! We’re also busy planning new milestone goals that will benefit the quality of the podcast. We have a few ideas and will announce them here when we’ve worked out the details. Also, if you’re a Patreon backer, look out for an email from us soon giving details of how you can join us for some online gaming.
