Lovecraftian Short: Thresher

27 June, 2015

There is no shortage of Lovecraft-inspired short films on the Internet, but many of them are pretty rough in their execution. It’s always a pleasant surprise to come across one as polished as Thresher.

Rather than adapting an existing story, Thresher uses images of alien and cosmic horror in its own twisted way. The result reminds me as much of Clive Barker as Lovecraft. It’s a perfectly creepy way to spend 7 1/2 minutes!
